The Russian retailers are back with two new listings after more than two months. This time, it is the upcoming Nokia G50 that has made it to their catalogue. The phone that is codenamed ‘Punisher’ will have TA-1361 as one of its model numbers.
It confirms that the device which recently received the Bluetooth certification with a Snapdragon 5G processor is Nokia G50 and its other model numbers are TA-1358, TA-1367, TA-1370, and TA-1390. Since the Nokia X series has featured the Snapdragon 480 5G platform till now, and there is no other 5G processor by Qualcomm which ranks lower than that, we might very well get to see the same chip in the Nokia G50.
Now, before we look into the specifications mentioned in the listings,we would like to clarify that sometimes the retailers include the specifications of the former Nokia phones, possibly because of the limited information provided by the distributor. So, everything will not turn out to be true. At least, that is what we have observed on multiple occasions.
In this case, you might find the details about the display and camera eerily similar to the Nokia 5.4 or 3.4.
Anyways, the retailers expect a 6.38-inch HD+ (1560 x 720 p) screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, a quad-camera setup of 48 + 5 + 2 + 2 MP at the back, and a 16 MP front camera. The processor might have all its eight cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. Expandable storage should be up to 512 GB using a microSD card.

Russia will get the dual SIM variant with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB ROM in Blue and Midnight Sun (Sand) colors with NFC. Among the positioning systems, GPS/AGPS/GLONASS/Galileo seems to be supported.
Nokia G50 has previously appeared in Australia, UAE, and UK listings. It is powered by Android 11 and will also be available in Forest Black colour. AU$ 477 (€290, ₹25290, US$340) is the cost of the 4/128 GB variant in Australia. The 4/64 GB variant will cost about £207 (€241, ₹21010, US$282), while the price without VAT (Value Added Tax) stands at £172 (€201, ₹17510, US$235) in the UK.
The smartphone should be accompanying Nokia Mobile’s first tablet, Nokia T20, and possibly a few more devices in the next launch event.
