These upcoming Vivo mobile phones are said to be across categories, including mid-range, flagship, and affordable. Among the notables are the Vivo Y21e, Vivo X80 series, and Vivo T1 Pro 5G. Here is the list of all the Vivo new mobile phones that have been doing the rounds of the rumour mill so far and are likely to launch in India or globally in the next two-to-three months. Vivo new mobile phones launching in 2022
1. Vivo T1 Pro 5G
The smartphone will be the Pro model of the recently-launched Vivo T1 smartphone. The Vivo T1 Pro will reportedly be a 5G offering that may launch in India sometime between April and May. The handset is first expected to launch in China then come to India. That said, the T1 Pro 5G in India will be different from its Chinese counterpart. While there is no word on the phone’s specifications yet, we can expect similar specifications as the regular T1, with an upgrade in the chipset, battery, or camera department.
2. Vivo X70
While the Vivo X70 Pro and Vivo X70 Pro+ already launched in India in the Diwali festive season, the Vivo X70 was nowhere to be seen. If rumours are to be believed, Vivo will launch this smartphone this year. If the phone comes with the same specs as its global counterpart, it will pack a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset, a 6.56-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a 40MP triple camera setup, a 32MP selfie camera, and a 4400mAh battery. The Vivo X70 Pro impressed us a lot with its premium design and excellent cameras, so we are hoping for the same with the Vivo X70.
3. Vivo X80
While we are still waiting for the release of the Vivo X70, we have already started receiving numerous leaks and rumours for its successor, the Vivo X80. Per a report by91mobiles, the Pro variant of the handset could debut in India as early as February alongside Vivo X80 Pro Plus. The vanilla Vivo X80 may not launch in the country. The handset is expected to pack a 120Hz FHD+ display and a 50MP camera with support for Vivo’s excellent 5-axis stabilisation. It will be paired with a 12MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom capability. Powering this device will be the latest MediaTek Dimensity 2000 chipset, which is set to launch in the coming weeks. There is no word on Vivo X80 Pro and X80 Pro Plus specifications yet.
4. Vivo Y21e
Vivo Y21e will be the upcoming mid-range smartphone from the brand.91mobiles recently published the renders, as well as listed down some of the key specifications, of this phone. The Vivo Y21e will flaunt a halo-notch display design, with a rectangular camera setup around the back. The phone will ship with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for security. As for the specifications, the Vivo Y21e is expected to ship with Snapdragon 689 SoC paired with at least 3GB RAM and 32GB storage onboard. The handset is said to sport a 6.51-inch HD+ LCD display and run Android 12-based FunTouch OS 12 out of the box. The upcoming Vivo smartphone could be driven by a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. In optics, the Y21e may sport a 13MP + 2MP dual-camera setup at the back and an 8MP selfie camera up front. There is no word on Vivo Y21e price in India at the moment.
5. Vivo iQOO 9 series
The Vivo iQOO 9 series is confirmed to launch in India on February 23rd. The series will comprise three smartphones, namely iQOO 9, iQOO 9 Pro, and iQOO 9 SE. The handsets price in India is tipped to start for as low as Rs 35,000. Coming to the specifications, the iQOO 9 series is expected to pack up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, Snapdragon 888+ SoC, 120Hz refresh rate screens, and 48MP triple rear cameras. Lastly, the Vivo iQOO 9 could be driven by a 4,350mAh battery.
