Honor is all set to foray into the foldable segment with the upcoming Honor Magic V. The Honor Magic V will launch on January 10th in China. Ahead of the launch, MySmartPrice has exclusively obtained the renders and the complete specifications of the Honor Magic V, courtesy of Ishan Agarwal. The Honor Magic V will come in three color variants – Orange, White, and Black. The upcoming foldable handset will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Let us take a closer look at the renders and specifications of the Honor Magic V.

Honor Magic V Renders and Design

The renders showcase the Magic V in Orange, Black, and White color variants. The Orange variant appears to have a faux leather finish. Whereas, the White and Black colors seem to have a glass back. The Black variant has a glossy finish. While the White color variant has a striped pattern on it.

The cover display on the upcoming Honor foldable will be curved on one side and will feature a centered-punch-hole-notch. On the back is a triple camera setup with dual-tone LED flashes.

Honor Magic V Specifications and Features

The cover display on the Magic V will be a 6.45-inch OLED panel with 2560×1080 pixel resolution, 431ppi pixel density, and 120Hz refresh rate. Whereas, the main display will be a 7.9-inch OLED panel with 2272×1984 pixel resolution, 381ppi pixel density, and 90Hz refresh rate.

Powering the Magic V is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor that is fabbed on Samsung’s 4nm process. It comes coupled with Adreno 730 GPU and 12GB of RAM. The Magic V will retail in two configurations – 12GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 512GB. It will boot Android 12, with the company’s proprietary MagicUI 6 on top.

The upcoming Honor foldable will offer a 50MP triple-rear camera setup with dual-tone LED flash. The primary 50MP sensor on the foldable will have an f/1.9 aperture and will be accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens with an f/2.2 aperture. There is also a 50MP spectrum enhanced camera with an f/2.0 aperture. For selfies, it will offer a 42MP sensor with an f/2.4 aperture.

The Magic V will be equipped with a 4,750mAh battery unit and 66W fast charging support. It will measure 160.4 × 72.7 × 14.3mm when folded. Whereas the dimensions will be 160.4 × 141.1 × 6.7mm when unfolded. It will weigh 293grams and feature DTS audio-powered ultra speakers.
