Honor is gearing up for the launch of its flagship smartphone series on June 16. The company has already teased the design of its upcoming Honor 50 series. Ahead of the launch, the specifications and features of the three smartphones have leaked online. 91Mobiles and Ishan Agarwal have leaked the complete specifications and features of the upcoming Honor smartphones. The company will launch three devices – Honor 50, 50 SE, and a Pro model. The vanilla and Pro models will share almost the same specs with some minor differences in the display and camera departments. Honor 50 series specifications
Honor will launch the Honor 50 series on June 16. Specifications and features of the three devices have leaked ahead of the launch.
Honor 50 SE
According to the report, the entry-level flagship Honor smartphone will feature the newly-launched MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. The device will sport a 6.78-inch IPS LCD with a Full HD+ resolution. It will have a 16MP front camera sensor. The tipster further revealed the details around the device’s triple-camera setup. According to Agarwal, the SE variant will have a 100MP f/1.9 primary sensor and an 8MP ultrawide sensor. There is also a 2MP f/2.4 macro sensor.
Other details leaked include a 4000 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. The device measures 164.73 x 75.63 x 8mm and weighs 191 grams, according to Agarwal.
Honor 50, 50 Pro specifications
The report claims that both these smartphones will feature a Snapdragon 778G processor. The vanilla model will have a 6.57-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution.
In terms of optics, the vanilla model will feature a quad-camera setup housing a 108MP primary camera. It will also have an 8MP f/2.2 ultrawide camera and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. The phone will feature a 32MP f/2.2 front camera. It will pack a 4,300 mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. Agarwal claims that the phone measures 159.96mm × 73.76mm × 7.78mm and weighs 175 grams.
Coming to the Pro model, the report states that it features a 6.72-inch AMOLED display. It also has the same quad-camera setup found on the vanilla model. The main differences are around the front camera and battery capacity.
Agarwal claims that the 32MP front camera will be accompanied by a secondary 12MP shooter on the Pro model. It will also support 100W fast charging to charge the 4000 mAh battery in 25 minutes. The device measures 163.46mm × 74.66mm × 8.05mm and weighs 187 grams. All three Honor 50 phones will run on Magic UI 4.2 out of the box.
