The Nokia TA-1465 model got certified which means that the phone successfully cleared all the FCC tests. According to the meager info shared by released FCC documents, the TA-1465 model is a classic feature phone that will be available in black and blue colour and come with an 800 mAh battery.
Label diagram shows it should be coming with a removable battery and camera at the back. The phone will be supporting standard GSM 899 and 1900 MHz frequencies, so the markets with 2G still working can expect it. Software is definitely not KaiOS since the battery capacity would have double the capacity.
At first, I thought TA-1465 is Nokia 105 Africa Edition, but that phone is already available in blue and green colors from KES 2,500. The last Nokia feature phone to come with an 800 mAh battery capacity was Nokia 110 back in 2019, so it is strange to see a new one coming.
So, necessary or not, a new feature phone is coming, and Nokia Mobile is planning to release at least four new models soon since the EUIPO page with all the protected designs has a lot of reserved spaces. I know that the market of feature phones is still there and the one I like is Nokia 110 4G, which looks fantastic in yellow.
