Micromax made a comeback to the Indian smartphone market in November 2020 with the IN Note 1, and today the company followed up with its successor, dubbed IN Note 2.
The Micromax IN Note 2 is built around a 6.43" FullHD+ AMOLED screen that's protected by an unknown version of Gorilla Glass and has a peak brightness of 550 nits. The display also has a punch hole in the center for the 16MP selfie camera.
The IN Note 2's rear panel has a "Dazzling Glass Finish" and sports a camera island that reminds us of the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. It houses a 48MP primary camera, joined by 5MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth units.
Under the hood, we get a Helio G95 SoC paired with 4GB RAM. The smartphone has 64GB of storage onboard, and it comes with a dedicated microSD card slot allowing storage expansion.
On the software front, we have stock Android 11, but the company hasn't mentioned anything about future version updates on its official website.
The rest of the Micromax IN Note 2's highlights include liquid cooling, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port, side-mounted fingerprint reader, and a 5,000 mAh battery with 30W charging, advertised to go from flat to 50% in 25 minutes. The smartphone also supports reverse wired charging.
