Meet the two latest Snapdragon drive products in the Galaxy Book series. Used in personal computers, Samsung has now announced a new laptop with these two functions. The new Galaxy Book Go is equipped with the Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 chipset, which provides instant-on performance and 18 hours of battery life. This thin and light 14-inch laptop runs Windows 10 and can be equipped with 4GB or 8GB of RAM, and 64GB or 128GB of built-in storage space. It will go on sale on June 10th, starting at $349.
If you'd like something a bit more powerful, then it sounds like the Galaxy Book Go 5G could be a good option when it arrives later this year with a Snapdragon 8cx Gen 2
Previous Snapdragon laptops have fulfilled their promise of long battery life, but compromises are needed in terms of performance and application compatibility. At the same time, Apple has switched its laptops to ARM CPUs, and there is no problem in any way with the M1 series of chips, although all of its devices are much more expensive. We will soon find out whether the new SDK and upgraded hardware are enough to change Windows on ARM.
